Fruity Chocolate Smoothie (C2)

Combine the following in your blender and enjoy!

1 cup plain Kiefer

1 tablespoon agave nectar (or sweetener of your choice)

1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

1/2 to 1 cup frozen raspberries

3 tablespoons raw or regular cocoa powder


  1. Try strawberries too, instead of raspberries, for a slightly sweeter taste.

  2. You know what flavor combination I really enjoy is oranges and chocolate -- I had a boss some years ago whose husband was a regional manager for Lindt candies; when they discontinued the orange chocolate ones.....I wound up with an entire case of it from him -- so good!

    I'm trying to think how to get the orange in as a fruit and not an extract. We're not supposed to do juices because we don't get the nutritional value, but I wonder if you could juice an orange and set your juicer to "maximum pulp" and put everything in the blender that way? I don't think it would harm the blender!
